After two years in investment banking, I am continuing my professional journey by pursuing a career in the social impact industry. From the outside in, this is a "career transition" or a "job change." But from my perspective, this has been a part of my journey all along.
My story starts as a high school entrepreneur: Through a special charity project, I was able to leverage an initial seed donation and my existing customer base to triple the amount donated to building a clean-water well in Uganda. It was that experience that truly sparked my interest in the intersection of business & social impact. This passion is what led me to study Finance & Marketing at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, attain Civic Scholars certification, gain quantitative skills through banking, and ultimately...it is what has led me here.
I am looking for:
- A strategy & business development role at a social enterprise
- A company dedicated to high impact & new models that solve old problems
- A position that combines the quantitative & qualitative
If this sparks your interest, let's start a conversation!
